Meet Our Founder
Derrika L. Hunt, Renee's baby, literally dreamed Dreamers4Change Foundation into being. A self-proclaimed dreamer, Derrika has spent most of her life in the clouds daydreaming so it comes as no surprise that she created an organization with dreaming at the crux of it's work. Dreamers4Change Foundation is a place where it's okay to dream big, a safe place for risky dreams, and a paradise to imagine what seems to be impossible.
As a Black, lesbian femme who believes that dream work is revolutionary work, Derrika leads D4C from a place of radical imagination and with the belief that in this lifetime, Black and Indigenous girls will be free, soverign beings with access to safety, joy, and a healthy earth.
